Reverse Lit Channel Letters

Reverse Lit Channel Letter Signs are becoming more popular as many high-end, new construction leases call for this aesthetically appealing design. The main body of this design is comprised of an .090 aluminum face and .050 aluminum returns (sides). After assembly, the inside of main body is painted white to maximize the effect of the LED lighting to be installed within. Additionally, the exterior is painted to the color specified at the time of the order or vinyl is applied to achieve the desired look. The back of the Reverse Illuminated Channel Letter is made of clear 1/4″ polycarbonate, which is strong enough to support the weight of the main body and LED lighting using angled clips and matching screws.

These letters are also called "halo lit" or "backlit" letters. Reverse channel letters are produced with aluminum faces and returns. These back lit letters are mounted away from the wall so a halo forms behind them. A clear polycarbonate back prevents animals from nesting inside the letter.
